When fishing for schooling redfish in water over twelve inches deep, the Borski Bonefish Slider Fly pattern has proven lethal in our clear water. I encourage my anglers to use this fly on an eight weight with a nine foot tapered leader of 12-13lb. test tied with a Duncan loop. The fly should be presented one to three feet in front of the school's lead fish and stripped erratic, bonefish style, but not fast. When the fish eats this fly hold on!
Tan & Brown on a #4, #6 or #8 hook.
